The designer has turned the lack of resources into a creative aspect of her designs, due to the obligatory recycling of objects, accessories and old fabrics, considered disposable.

Sustainable fashion Ledon has turned what she calls her "obsession" with trash into a profession.

"Art is a way to create change," says Ledón. "I don't think that can change politics, per se, but I think it can help bring us together, bridge the gap that exists between people in different countries."
