THE BEGINNING

Talking to José Luis Victoria is transported to the world to paper with a variety of styles, shapes, threads, needles, thimbles, fabrics, colors, shades, ornaments, stones and undoubtedly his beloved sewing machine, where he finished his designs creations.

They always say that behind a "Great Man" "Professional" is a great woman, and who's important in your life that Mrs. Gladys Victoria, his mother. From her I inherited his love of design. "My mother is an example to follow" "I always supports and encourages me to keep going," he said to us.

 

José Luis was one of the angels who found Clarissa Molina in his way. The guide advises you. I take her hands being his muse in several events.

He is a man full of virtues and everything is always ready to help those who need it. Always smiling and with the gift of patience that makes each of his works become dream dresses. Born in the city of Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. Creativity He was directed in principle to the choreography, occurring to know in Carnival parades and dances for the social centers Center Spanish Gurabito Santiago and Country Club. He then goes to elementary tools fashion design which was implemented in the making of artistic clothing Vickiana the very sensual.

 

THE BRAND

Although the passion for art always accompanied him, he decided to pursue career in business administration at the Technological University of Santiago.  In 1988 leaves for the United States and a year later he began working Maggy London.LTD for signature in New York, where you have the opportunity to
design for Univision and Telemundo personalities.

 

In 1993 he was elected to design the costumes for the New ACE Awards York, where he remained as the exclusive designer for a period of four years.  He has made four fashion shows to benefit his country Dominican Republic.  It's designed for artists such as Adalgisa Pantaleon, Vickiana, Celines Toribio,
Virmanias Rios. His creations have also looked actresses Azela Robinson,  Cynthia Klitbo, Itati Cantoral, Gloria Stefan, Yadira Carrillo, Zoe Zaldaña, etc.

 

COLLABORATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

In 2008 he was hired to dress models in the Hello Awards New York City, as he was interviewed by the artist Thalia in your program Thalia Connección radio. In the same 2008 it was to compete for the Golden Thimble World, the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador, obtaining the grand prize.  In 2009 he was elected as a designer for The Hola Awards yet signed contract for 4 years. Then in 2010 he participates in the Fashion Week in Pereira Colombia closing the event representing Dominican Republic.

 

In the same year he was invited to Cali Colombia to open the fashion week with Roberto Cabali. In 2011 he was hired by Gabriel White artistic representations in Colombia
TV Novelas to dress in Colombia where he dressed actresses, Sonia Cubides, Diana
Quijano and Myriam de Lourdes.

José Luis is working on the launch of its dedicated project perfume
"Monument" Heart of Man.
